Abstract:
To efficiently supply oil to an oil supply target in an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine includes: a balance shaft; a rotating shaft that is a component separate from the balance shaft, is coupled to the balance shaft and rotates integrally with the balance shaft; an oil pump that has a cover including a peripheral surface forming a hole in which the rotating shaft is inserted, has a gap between the peripheral surface and the rotating shaft and is driven by the rotating shaft; a bearing rotatably supporting a coupled part of the balance shaft and the rotating shaft; and a guide part protruding from the cover to the side of the coupled part of the balance shaft and the rotating shaft and guiding oil of the oil pump leaked from the gap to the bearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
