Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily executable method of removing inclusions capable of efficiently removing fine inclusions in molten metal which cannot be removed by floatation and filtration.SOLUTION: The method of removing the inclusions in the molten metal includes steps for applying a high-frequency electric current of a frequency fto an induction coil applying magnetic field to an induction heating melting furnace, melting and stirring the metal charged into a furnace body of the induction heating melting furnace, and then applying a high-frequency electric current of a frequency fdifferent from the frequency fto separate the inclusions in the molten metal.
