Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack which can prevent damage to a housing due to the lack of plastic deformation and strength of a terminal even if external force is applied to a plug in a direction other than a predetermined insertion direction.SOLUTION: There is provided a jack 1 into which a substantially round rod-like shaft part 71 of a plug 70 is inserted for connection in an attachable/detachable manner. The jack comprises: a cylindrical housing 10 having a plug insertion port on its front face and provided with a cylindrical insertion through-hole into which the shaft part of the plug is inserted; a plurality of elastic contact terminals 20, arranged on the inner side of a lateral wall of the housing, which come into contact with the shaft part and are pushed to the lateral wall side by the shaft part making contact therewith; and an inner stopper 30, arranged on the inner side of the lateral wall of the housing, which restricts horizontal movement of the shaft part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
