Abstract:
To provide a joint which can achieve high seal performance without using an O ring.SOLUTION: A joint connects a first hose with a second hose in a cooling line in a motor vehicle. The joint body is a cylindrical member. A first peripheral wall end part of the joint body is press-fitted in an end part of the first hose, and a second peripheral wall end part includes a male screw on an outer peripheral surface and an annular groove on an end surface. In a sleeve, a first peripheral wall end part is press-fitted in the annular groove of the joint body and a second peripheral wall end part is press-fitted in an end part of the second hose. In a nut, a first peripheral wall end part includes a female screw coupled to the male screw of the joint body and a second peripheral wall end part includes an inner peripheral surface in contact with the first peripheral wall end part of the sleeve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
