To provide a joint which enables a holding member for holding a biasing member in a water flow passage to be assembled easily.SOLUTION: A joint A includes: a pipe-like body 10 having a water flow passage 10a; a valve seat 18 provided at the water flow passage 10a; a valve body 20 which is seated on the valve seat 18 and limits circulation in the water flow passage 10a; a biasing member 30 which biases the valve body 20 to the valve seat 18; and a holding member 40 which holds the biasing member 30 in the water flow passage 10a. The body 10 includes a female type first connection part 11 which is connected in a state that a pipe is inserted thereinto. The holding member 40 includes: a first restriction part 42 which contacts with an end surface of the pipe inserted into the first connection part 11 indirectly to restrict movement of the holding member 40 to the first connection part 11 side; and a second restriction part 43 which is engaged with the body 10 by the holding member 40 being inserted from the first connection part 11 into the water flow passage 10a to restrict movement of the holding member 40 to the first connection part 11 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
