Abstract:
To solve a situation where a user using a portable terminal as an electronic key has to carry the electronic key in addition to the portable terminal.SOLUTION: Vehicle identification information of a vehicle, mechanical lock identification information of a mechanical key provided on the vehicle, and key shape data of the mechanical key for use in combination with the mechanical lock are stored in a corresponding manner. Furthermore, information on a plurality of manufacturing sites capable of manufacturing the mechanical key is also stored. Upon accepting a request for acquiring the mechanical key, the key shape data of the mechanical key is identified from the vehicle identification information. Furthermore, the manufacturing site of the mechanical key is determined based on delivery place information indicating a delivery place of the mechanical key. In this way, when the mechanical key is required, the user of the vehicle can receive the mechanical key by making a request for acquiring the mechanical key to a key shape data management system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
