Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for knitting a tubular knitted fabric which can form a sufficient number of stitches in inclined edge parts without moving stitch rows knitted by flechage knitting to an outside in a knitting width direction during the course of the flechage knitting.SOLUTION: A method for knitting a tubular knitted fabric includes carrying out multiple times of unit knitting in which flechage knitting with end part stitches 11 and 13 located at the same position is repeated n times, while gradually moving the position of the end part stitches 11 and 13. A flechage stitch 12 is knitted on an existing stitch 10 after the end of forward knitting 1A and before the start of backward knitting 1B in the first flechage knitting. A widening stitch 22 is knitted after the end of forward knitting 2A and before the start of backward knitting 2B in the m-th flechage knitting. Then, by using racking and stitch transfer, the flechage stitch 12 and the widening stitch 22 are rearranged into a state in which they are aligned in the formation order thereof from a flechage end side, and new stitches are knitted so as to successively follow the aligned stitches.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
