Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower limb supporting device that can realize a wide detection range by a single sensing unit.SOLUTION: A lower limb supporting device 10 has a single first sensing unit 29 for sensing first pressure 100, second pressure 101 and third pressure 102 from circumference, which are included to a footrest 20. The first sensing unit 29 includes a footrest cover 30 formed of a cover rear end 38 for covering the rear end of the footrest 20 from the backside of the footrest 20, a link mechanism 34 for connecting the footrest cover 30 with the footrest 20, and a sensor 37 for sensing proximity or estrangement of the footrest cover 30 to the footrest 20. When any of each pressure 100, 101, 102 is applied to the footrest cover 30, the footrest cover 30 is displaced on an arcuate track like a swinging pendulum to the footrest 20 through the link mechanism 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
