Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of detecting an original position of a focusing optical system without causing unnatural change in captured images.SOLUTION: A lens barrel provided herein includes: a focusing optical system LF for adjusting a focal position that varies in accordance with focal length; a focus actuator 107 for driving the focusing optical system LF in an optical axis direction; original position detection means 108 for detecting an original position of the focusing optical system LF; and a lens control unit 101 which computes a position of the focusing optical system LF relative to the original point on the basis of the detected original position and a drive signal of the focus actuator 107. The original position detection means 108 is located in a common driving range which is a range used for all focal length in common in a driving range of the focusing optical system LF.
