Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens cover capable of preventing ghost images from appearing on images photographed by using a lens of different size, and to provide a monitoring camera requiring no accessory lens covers of different shapes.SOLUTION: A lens cover 13 is attached to a camera main body 15 which includes an imaging lens 17 so as to slide forward/backward in a direction along the optical axis 19 of the imaging lens 17 according to the size of the imaging lens 17 replaced with a different kind of imaging lens. The lens cover 13 may be attached to the camera main body 15 so as to slide forward/backward in a direction along the optical axis 19 of the imaging lens 17 being interposed by an adapter. The lens cover 13 is preferably adapted to slide step by step relative to the camera main body by means of a notch engagement mechanism constituted of a notch and a notch engagement part.
