PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unnecessary resonance in the optical axis direction of a lens drive device.SOLUTION: A lens drive device has a camera shake correction part that includes: a fixing member that is arranged separated from an autofocus (AF) lens drive part in the optical axis direction; a suspension wire that has one end fixed at the periphery of the fixing member, extends along the optical axis to have the other end fixed to the AF lens drive part, and oscillatably supports the AF lens drive part in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis; a break prevention member for preventing the suspension wire from breaking; and a damper material that is disposed between the fixing member and the AF lens drive part to suppress unnecessary resonance in the optical axis direction of the AF lens drive part. The AF lens drive part includes, as a break prevention member, a wire fixing part of a first leaf spring to which the other end of the suspension wire is fixed, and includes, as a break prevention auxiliary member, a projection part that projects in the optical axis direction from a first end of a magnet holder to which the leaf spring is attached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 25
