Abstract:
There is provided a lens edging system, including: a spectacle frame measurement device 20 and an order-side terminal device 10 disposed at a spectacle lens order side; and an order-receiving side controller 30 disposed at a spectacle lens order-receiving side, wherein the order-side terminal device 10 and the order-receiving side controller 30 are connected to each other via a communication line 3, the system further including: an information memory part 14 for storing and holding information regarding a shape of a probe in the spectacle frame measurement device 20 as probe information 17; and an edging shape calculation part 32 for performing data correction reflecting an abutting mode of the probe indicated by the probe information 17 when lens edging shape data is created at the spectacle lens order-receiving side, wherein a suitable size correction can be performed even when a frame shape of any kind of a spectacle frame is measured by the spectacle frame measurement device 20 by performing the data correction.
