To provide a lift device including an elevator part that is rapidly ascendable and descendable.SOLUTION: A lift device 1 includes an elevator part 20 that is ascendable and descendable relative to a supporting post part 10, a seat support part 30 that is connected to the elevator part 20 and supports a seat part, a telescopic part 60 that is provided telescopically in the elevator part 20 and makes a telescopic motion to cause the elevator part 20 to ascend and descend relative to the supporting post part 10, a water supply part 40 that supplies water to the telescopic part 60 through a water passage 12 in the supporting post part 10, an air supply part 50 that supplies the air to the telescopic part 60 through an air passage 14 in the supporting post part 10, and a control part that elevates the elevator part 20 by causing the water supply part 40 to supply the water and the air supply part 50 to supply the air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
