Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lamp with a plurality of lamp units each using light-emitting elements as a light source, and capable of forming a plurality of types of light distribution patterns different in a position of a bright-dark boundary line extending in a vertical direction with an inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: A vehicle lamp comprises three lamp units 20A, 20B, and 20C, interconnects of a plurality of light-emitting elements 30A1 to 30A7, 30B1 and 30B2, and 30C1 and 30C2 configuring light source units 30A, 30B, and 30C of the respective lamp units are classified into four interconnect channels ch1 to ch4. The plurality of light-emitting elements 30A1 to 30A7, 30B1 and 30B2, and 30C1 and 30C2 are turned on simultaneously for each of the interconnect channels ch1 to ch4, thereby forming four types of light distribution patterns different in a position of a bright-dark boundary line extending in a vertical direction. It is thereby possible to reduce the number of interconnect channels, compared with a conventional vehicle lamp.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
