Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wavelength conversion sheet that can suppress a dot-like luminance defect while suppressing the deterioration in quantum dots and that can reduce its thickness and manufacturing cost, a backlight device, an image display device, and a manufacturing method of such an optical wavelength conversion sheet.SOLUTION: According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided an optical wavelength conversion sheet 10 comprising an optical wavelength conversion layer 11 which contains a binder resin 12 and quantum dots 15 dispersed in the binder resin 12 and which has a function to suppress the deterioration in the quantum dots. The water vapor permeability at 40°C and relative humidity of 90% of the optical wavelength conversion sheet 10 is 0.1 g/(m24h) or more and/or the oxygen permeability at 23°C and relative humidity of 90% of the optical wavelength conversion sheet 10 is 0.1 cm/(m24h atm) or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
