Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control current for turning on an illumination lamp to suitable predetermined current.SOLUTION: An illumination lamp comprises a semiconductor light-emitting element, a rectification circuit which the rectifies the AC voltage supplied from an input unit and outputs the rectified voltage, and a driving circuit which turns on and drives the semiconductor light-emitting element. The driving circuit comprises: a current detecting unit which detects current flowing through the semiconductor light-emitting element; a duty generating unit which generates a lighting control signal duty representing duty of a lighting control signal according to the detected current; a signal generating unit which generates a lighting control signal for the generated lighting control signal duty; and a converter unit which converts the rectified voltage and outputs the converted voltage to the semiconductor light-emitting element on the basis of the generated lighting control signal. The duty generating unit increases the lighting control signal in a lamp shape, and when the detected current becomes not less than target current, stops change of the lighting control signal duty.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
