Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting control device for a vehicle lamp which ensures appropriate lighting control of a lamp even when an abnormality occurs in the lamp or a camera.SOLUTION: A lighting control device for a vehicle lamp is constituted of a plurality of lamps L-HL and R-HL mounted on a vehicle. Each of the lamps includes: a lamp unit 2 for illuminating a required area; imaging means 4 for imaging the required area; and lamp control means 5 for controlling the lighting of the lamp unit 2 on the basis of the imaged images. When one of the plurality of lamps is abnormal, the lamp control means 5 of the other lamp controls the lighting of at least one normal lamp unit 2 of the plurality of lamps.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
