Abstract:
To provide a luminaire capable of enhancing the dependability of detecting the disconnection of an optical fiber.SOLUTION: A luminaire 10 includes a laser light source 41, an optical fiber 30 for guiding light emitted by the laser light source 41, a wavelength conversion element 21 for converting the light guided by the optical fiber 30 into illumination light having a different wavelength band, a light receiving part 42 for receiving return light as part of the illumination light, guided by the optical fiber 30 in the opposite direction to the light, a control part 49 (a disconnection detection part) for detecting the disconnection of the optical fiber 30 on the basis of the detection result of the light receiving part 42, and a bandpass filter 52 (a first filter) arranged on a light path L1 of the light from the laser light source 41 to the optical fiber 30, where there is no interference with the return light, for extracting light having a first wavelength band including the emission peak wavelength of the light from the light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
