Abstract:
To solve the problem that a conventional luminaire has needle-like fall preventive metal fittings located always inside a cover so as to prevent a cover from falling and a shadow of the fall preventive metal fittings is projected on the cover when the luminaire is lit and, especially, that when the cover has large transparency and the inside of the cover is visible, the fall preventive metal fittings are visible to spoil designability of the luminaire.SOLUTION: A luminaire body and a cover are coupled together using a flexible cord-like body, and the cord body is stored in an upper part of the luminaire body so that while the cover is fitted to the luminaire body, a shadow of the cord-like body is not projected on the cover. When the cover is detached from the luminaire body, the cord-like body is fed out of a through hole formed in the luminaire body to hang the cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
