Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of achieving glareless properties by securing light scattering in the vertical neighborhood of a cutoff line in a front visual field, and capable of securing sufficient illuminance while maintaining proper light scattering in left and right visual fields, and to provide an automobile.SOLUTION: The luminaire includes: a projection lens 10; a light source 20 arranged on the rear side of the projection lens 10; a reflector 30 for reflecting the light from the light source 20 toward the projection lens 10; and a shielding body 40 for shielding one part of the light reflected at the reflector 30, and for forming a cutoff line in a light distribution pattern. On a surface of the projection lens 10, a projecting and recessed part 11 partitioned by a plurality of unit regions is formed. When a region in the center of the projection lens 10 is defined as a central region C, a region on the left side of the central region C is defined as a left region L and a region on the right side of the cental region C is defined as a right region R, in a front view, the ratio of a unit region A occupied in the central region C is larger than the ratio of the unit region A occupied in each of the left region L and the right region R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
