Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately call for attention by emitting light.SOLUTION: A vehicular lighting system (10) comprises: detection means (110, 120, 130, 210) that detect the position and moving direction of an object (30) present around the own vehicle (20); determination means (230) that determines on the basis of the position and moving direction of the object, whether the object is a target calling for attention or not; emitting means (300) that emits light for calling for attention relative to the object; and control means (240) that controls the emitting means if the object is a pedestrian crossing one traffic lane in which the own vehicle is traveling, such that the light is continuously emitted during a period of time that attention should be called for other vehicles (40) traveling in the other traffic lanes even after the pedestrian has crossed the one traffic lane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
