Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting unit and a link unit for a hair cutting apparatus.SOLUTION: A link unit comprises a 4-bar link mechanism (32) having a first arm (42) and a second arm (44). The first arm comprises a first base pivot (48) joined to a base (38), and the second arm comprises a second base pivot (50) joined to the base. The first base pivot and the second base pivot are arranged on the base at a fixed distance from one another. The first arm also comprises a first upper pivot (52) joined to a connection bar (46), and the second arm also comprises a second upper pivot (54) joined to the connection bar. The connection bar is structured to be joined to a cutting unit so that the cutting unit is pivotally supported by the link mechanism (32) during operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6b
