Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation liquefaction determination method for determining the necessity of liquefaction determination of an object foundation based on a measurement result of an electric static cone penetration test (CPT).SOLUTION: The foundation liquefaction determination method for continuously measuring a tip resistance (qt), a sleeve friction (fs) and pore water pressure (u2) of a foundation on each soil layer by carrying out an electric static cone penetration test (CPT) on an object foundation. A normalized tip resistance (Qt) and a normalized pore water pressure ratio (Bq) are calculated using a specific formula respectively based on the tip resistance (qt) and pore water pressure (u2) of the foundation for each of the soil layers. With this, a soil layer in a range Qt≥7 and Bq≤0.1 is determined as a soil layer requiring liquefaction determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
