Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity while suppressing a reduction in position accuracy of a liquid impacting a medium in a liquid discharge device comprising: a transportation section transporting the medium; and a discharge section having a nozzle array constituted by arranging a plurality of nozzles capable of discharging the liquid side-by-side in an intersection direction intersecting with a transportation direction of the medium.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device 1 comprises: a transportation section 10 transporting a medium P; a discharge section 19 having a nozzle array NL constituted by arranging a plurality of nozzles N capable of discharging a liquid side-by-side in an intersection direction B intersecting with a transportation direction A of the medium P; and a detection section 16 detecting a discharge state of the plurality of nozzles N. A discharge region of the liquid in the nozzle array NL can be changed on the basis of a detection result of the detection section 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
