Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological reaction device that reduces the stress/damage received by microorganisms, etc., in a biological reaction in which the biological reaction using the microorganisms, etc., is carried out efficiently and economically, and a biological reaction method using the biological reaction device.SOLUTION: In order to reduce the stress/damage received by microorganisms, etc., the microorganisms are removed from the culture tank, and after including micro-nano-bubbles, the amount of biological culture solution recirculated in the culture tank is 1% or more to less than 48% per minute the amount of biological culture solution stored in the culture tank, while the reduction in oxygen concentration accompanying this is compensated for by making the oxygen partial pressure in the gas phase above the biological culture solution in the culture tank 0.23 atm or more and less than 0.6 atm, and/or making the pressure of the gas phase above the biological culture solution in the culture tank 1.1 atm or more and less than 3.0 atm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
