Abstract:
To provide a loading device that is detachable from an image forming apparatus body without damaging an abutment member with a recording material loaded on the loading device no matter what kind of attachment/detachment operation such as pulling out or returning vigorously when attached/detached to/from the image forming apparatus body.SOLUTION: The loading device, detachable from an apparatus body of an image forming apparatus including the apparatus body having an abutting member that comes into contact with a loaded recording material, for loading the recording material discharged from the apparatus body, includes: a first support unit for supporting the recording material from below; and a second support unit for supporting an end of the recording material in an attaching/detaching direction in which the loading device is attached/detached from the apparatus body. The second support unit does not interfere with the abutting member when the loading device is moved in the attaching/detaching direction and attached to the apparatus body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
