Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress leakage of tooth hitting noise at a torque transmission portion of a clutch portion, to the external.SOLUTION: A lock-up device includes a clutch disc 28, a piston 30, a cover plate 41, and a supporting boss 40. The clutch disc 28 is disposed between a front cover 2 and a turbine. The piston 30 is disposed between the front cover 2 and the turbine. The cover plate 41 is disposed between the piston 30 and the turbine, and has a torque transmission portion 41c for transmitting torque to the clutch disc 28, on its outer peripheral portion. The supporting boss 40 has a piston supporting portion 40b fixed to an inner peripheral portion of the front cover 2 and slidably supporting an inner peripheral end face of the piston 30, and a welding portion 40c to which an inner peripheral portion of the cover plate 41 is welded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
