Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress shock in clutch-on of a lock-up device, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A lock-up device includes a clutch plate 31, a piston 32, and a wave spring 36. The clutch plate 31 is arranged between a front cover and a turbine. The piston 32 has a pressing part 32a arranged movably in an axis direction and configured to press the clutch plate 31, and makes the clutch plate 31 into a torque transmission state. The wave spring 36 is arranged on the same side as the pressing part 32a of the piston 32, and configured to start elastic deformation before the pressing part 32a contacts with the clutch plate 31 with movement of the piston 32 to the clutch plate 31 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
