Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of a lock-up capacity with an increase in a number of rotations, in a lock-up device which actuates a piston by differential pressure between apply pressure and release pressure on pistons both sides.SOLUTION: A lock-up device is equipped with a clutch portion 28; a piston 29; and a working fluid leading-out plate 31. The clutch portion 28 is disposed between a front cover 5 and a turbine 9, and has clutch plates 34 and 35. The piston 29 is disposed so as to move in an axial direction, and presses the clutch plates 34 and 35 on a front cover 5 side to bring the clutch portion 28 into a torque transmission state. The working fluid leading-out plate 31 is provided on a side surface on the piston 29 side of the front cover 5, and leads a working fluid between the front cover 5 and the piston 29 to a drain oil path 2a formed on an input shaft 2 of a transmission by using rotations of the front cover 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
