Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting bulb and a vehicular lighting appliance having a semiconductor laser element as a light source capable of restricting deterioration of characteristics under heat of a fluorescent body excited by light of the semiconductor laser element and deterioration of the semiconductor laser element caused by heat of the semiconductor laser element itself.SOLUTION: A light-emitting bulb 10 comprises a semiconductor laser element 20, a lens 3 focusing a light distribution angle of light radiated by the semiconductor laser element 20, a translucent member 4 including a fluorescent body 4a for generating fluorescent light with light of the semiconductor laser element 20 having passed through the lens 3 being as excitation light, a base 5 having a support part 51 for supporting the semiconductor laser element 20 and a heat radiation part 52 for radiating heat from the semiconductor laser element 20 through the support part 51, and a support member 6 arranged along an optical axis L of the lens 3 and supporting the translucent member 4 at the base 5 while being spaced apart from the semiconductor laser element 20.
