Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that can constantly irradiate a subject with the optimal bounce light, and a control method of the same.SOLUTION: When performing bounce photographing where light emitted from a light emitting part 204 is reflected on a bounce surface to illuminate a subject to perform photographing, a strobe light MPU 203 measures the distance from the light emitting part to the subject as a subject distance by using a light measuring part for distance measurement 209, and measures the distance from the light emitting part 204 to the bounce surface as a bounce surface distance. The strobe light MPU 203 determines a bounce angle that is an angle at which the light emitting part 204 emits light on the basis of the subject distance and the bounce surface distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
