Abstract:
The on-machine coater has a blade coater (6) arranged in a downstream side of the air turn (4) that is arranged diagonally on a downstream side of the size press (3). A upper and lower non-contact dryers (11a,11b) positioned on a web (A) arranged at the downstream side of the air turn, dries the web surfaces, when the coating is performed by the size press. The dryer (11b) web moves upwards, so as to oppose the lower surface of the web, which is beyond the blade coater, when the coating is performed by the blade coater.
