Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a machine room cover device for a passenger conveyor capable of suppressing intrusion of water into a machine room while suppressing an increase in number of components, and capable of achieving a reduction in workload in the machine room.SOLUTION: In a machine room cover device for a passenger conveyor, a cover 22 can be displaced between a droplet prevention position located at an upper opening part 4a of an upper machine room 4 and a partition position positioned between an upper step inversion part 8 and an upper work area 14 in the upper machine room 4. When being at the droplet prevention position, the cover 22 receives water dripping from an upper entrance floor plate 12 in a state of facing a lower surface of the upper entrance floor plate 12. Further, the cover 22 is held at the droplet prevention position by a first holding member 31, and held at the partition position by a second holding member 32. In the upper machine room 4, a gutter 25 for receiving the water dripping from the cover 22 when the cover 22 is at the droplet prevention position is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
