Abstract:
To provide a magnetic base material and a magnetic laminate constituted of a silicon steel plate and heat resistant resin which are excellent in mechanical strength and magnetic characteristics.
This magnetic base material is constituted by applying heat resistant resin and/or the precursor of the heat resistant resin to at least a part of one side or both sides of a silicon steel plate, and a silicon quantity contained in the silicon steel plate ranges from 0.5 to 7.5 weight %, and the thickness of the heat resistant resin and/or the precursor of the heat resistant resin is set so as to be 1/2 of the overall thickness or less.
