Abstract:
To measure an angle with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A magnetic encoder 1 includes a rotatable disk-shaped magnet 10 having a plurality of magnetic pole pairs, four magnetic sensors 20 arranged on the surroundings of the magnet 10, and a computing device 30 that calculates a mechanical angle, which is a rotation angle of the magnet 10 on the basis of a magnetic flux detected by the four magnetic sensors 20. The plurality of magnetic pole pairs each have a different strength of magnetization.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
