Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detecting device of a passenger conveyor and the like which can detect more accurately abnormality of a passenger conveyor, in particular a footstep chain of an inner roller type.SOLUTION: The abnormality detecting device of a passenger conveyor comprises a detecting device which detects change of a position in a vertical direction due to own weight, at a position where the device does not receive force affecting the change in the vertical direction due to the own weight from shafts other than roller shafts of footstep rollers, at one or both of inversion parts at both ends of a passenger conveyor, with respect to footstep chains in which a plurality of footstep rollers are joined with each other in order through a link plate of a roller shaft and endlessly connected between the inversion parts at both ends of the passenger conveyor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
