Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mammography apparatus and a hand switch that an operator can operate easily when positioning breasts.SOLUTION: A mammography apparatus includes an X-ray tube for generating an X-ray to be irradiated onto a subject, an X-ray detector for detecting an X-ray that penetrates the breasts of the subject, a compression plate for compressing the breasts of the subject, a compression plate drive part for compressing the breasts by driving the compression plate, a hand switch provided with an input part for inputting a signal to activate the compression plate drive part, which is shaped so as to be gripped by one hand of an operator, an X-ray tube for irradiating an X-ray onto the breasts of the subject in a state that the breasts are compressed by the compression plate, and an image processing part for generating an X-ray image of the breasts based on the X-ray detected by the X-ray detector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
