Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accumulate malfunction information of various applications on an image formation apparatus side and predict the occurrence of malfunction.SOLUTION: A gateway 200 receives, for example, a printing job from a user terminal 100, transmits the received printing job to a MFP 300 executing any of various applications corresponding to various processing and independent of each other, and registers malfunction information in a memory 211 when receiving the malfunction information indicating the malfunction occurring, for example, during execution of the printing application from the MFP 300. With this configuration, the malfunction information on the various applications on the MFP 300 side can be accumulated since the gateway 200 registers the malfunction information on the various applications on the MFP 300 side in the memory 211. Also the occurrence of the malfunction of the various applications can be predicted by confirming the contents of the malfunction information registered in the memory 211.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
