Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole having a compact structure which keeps off dirt in drainage, corresponding to the narrow inside of an existing conduit (baffle plate) attached to the outlet of influent water, and a power generating system at a manhole pump station.SOLUTION: A water sensor 9, an inflow-side electrically-driven three-way valve 8, and a fracture accelerator 10 are attached to the inflow part of an inflow pipe. Two after-acceleration electrically-driven three-way valves 12 are linked directly thereunder. Two pump-side electrically-driven three-way valves 13 are attached for a first pump and a second pump and piped with the after-acceleration electrically-driven three-way valves 12. A conventional induction motor-driven manhole pump is replaced with a hybrid manhole pump having a permanent magnet rotor. The hybrid manhole pump having a permanent magnet rotor works as a pump when voltage is applied, and works as a power generator when a vane wheel is rotated while generating power in proportion to the revolution.
