Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a progressive type spectacle lens whose refracting power differs by right and left and that assures further excellent binocular vision.SOLUTION: By defining a reference lens that is common to right and left lenses, calculating an object side field angle of a beam that passes through prescribed each sample point on the reference lens, and calculating a beam whose object side field angle in a prescription lens coincides with the calculated object side field angle in the above, each position on the reference lens is obtained through which a beam having the same object side field angle as a beam corresponding to each sample point on the reference lens passes. By calculating a ratio of a distance between an intersection of a visual line of front view and the reference lens and a sample point on the reference lens to a distance between an intersection of a visual line of front view and the prescription lens and a beam passage position on the prescription lens to correct a curvature at the beam passage position on the prescription lens corresponding to each object side field angle based on the ratio for each of the right and left lenses, a curvature distribution of the prescription lens is corrected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
