Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of efficiently producing organic matter from raw material including the outline of cuttlefish bones or crustacea only with water without using acid-alkali catalysts.SOLUTION: As raw material, for example, cuttlefish bones are contacted with subcritical water. In this way, β chitin is obtained in the form of solid residue, and peptide is obtained in the form of an aqueous solution. The temperature Θ and pressure P of the subcritical water are adjusted in 150 to 300[°C] and 0.5 to 8.6[MPa], respectively. The adjustment is performed in such a manner that the contact time T between the cuttlefish bones and the subcritical water is made shorter as the subcritical water being high temperature.
