PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of dialkyl dithienobenzodifuran.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of dialkyl dithienobenzodifuran represented by the following general formula (1) by continuous processes of at least (A) to (E). (A) 1,4-di(3-methoxythienyl)-2,5-dihalobenzene is manufactured by a 3-ethoxythiophene-2-metal derivative and 1,2,4,5-tetrahalobenzene in the presence of a palladium catalyst. (B) demethylation. (C) intramolecular cyclization. (D) a Friedel-Crafts acylating reaction. (E) a reductive reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
