Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing acid-modified polypropylene which keeps a high grafting ratio, has a high acid value, suppresses reduced molecular weight and has high molecular weight, by a kneading method being a simple manufacturing method without using a solvent; and a method for producing acid-modified polypropylene which can be used as a compatibilizer that improves compatibility between a polyolefin resin and a filler, imparts rigidity and strength to a filler-containing polyolefin resin composition and can improve impact resistance.SOLUTION: A method for producing acid-modified polypropylene includes a step of heating and kneading (A) polypropylene, (B) unsaturated dibasic acid, (C) polyfunctional (meth)acrylate, (D) a maleic anhydride derivative polymer and (E) an organic peroxide without using a solvent to cause graft reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
