Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method capable of producing an aluminosilicate hardened body having excellent moldability and physical properties.SOLUTION: The method for producing an aluminosilicate hardened body comprises the steps of: producing a raw material composition by mixing aluminosilicate powder, an alkali metal salt, and an inorganic thickening agent; molding the raw material composition obtained; and, further, curing the same. As the inorganic thickening agent, there is used any one or more of bentonite, sepiolite, attapulgite, and VEEGUM. Further, preferably, the inorganic thickening agent is contained in an amount of 0.3 to 12.0 mass% relative to a total solid content; coal fly ash is used as the aluminosilicate powder; and the raw material composition contains, in a mass ratio, 8 to 40 of water relative to 100 of the total solid content.
