Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of a capacitor used for a hybrid automobile or the like.SOLUTION: A capacitor 1 includes a capacitor element, a frame body 5 which is configured in a frame-like shape to have a pair of opposed openings 5a and 5b and houses the capacitor element 2 in a hollow portion 7 between the pair of openings 5a and 5b, and resin 10 which is filled in the hollow portion 7 and solidified to integrate the capacitor element 2 and the frame body 5 into one body. A heat radiation mechanism is provided by this configuration, and thus even when a heat radiation plate is pressed against the capacitor 1 with relatively strong force, the stress received from the heat radiation plate is absorbed to some extent by the frame body 5, and the stress applied to the resin 10 and the capacitor element 2 is relaxed. As a result, the probability of breakage of the resin 10 and the capacitor element 2 can be reduced. Therefore, the capacitor 1 to which the present invention is applied has high reliability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
