Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon-coated graphite material capable of forming a smooth and dense carbon coating which hardly generates foaming, irregularities and cracking in the production process by a simple process in a short time.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a carbon-coated graphite material, which comprises: an electrostatic coating step of spraying a charged carbon precursor to the surface of a graphite material to form a coating film; and a burning step of burning the graphite material on which the coating film is formed, in which the coating film of the carbon precursor can be formed without using a large amount of a solvent. Thus, since air bubbles caused by the scattering of the solvent during curing or carbonization can be reduced, a carbon-coated graphite material having a smooth surface can be obtained by simple treatment without causing irregularities and cracking on the surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
