Abstract:
The method involves attaching a tool (60) i.e. hollow cylinder, on free edges of fins (16) for fixing the fins in its angular orientation. A molding material mixture is formed of a fireproof base molding material and a curable binding agent, applied in cells (22, 24, 26) and cured. Intermediate sleeves (18, 20) are placed on the edges of the fins after removing the tool. The edges of the fins are joined to the sleeves by welding or soldering to the cells. The cured mixture is thermally treated and the molding material is removed from the cells.
