Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive film that has many fine lines of conductive metal formed on a film surface, and a method for manufacturing the same and use thereof.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for manufacturing a conductive film, comprising the steps of: (1) irradiating a surface of a transparent film having a hydrophilic surface with vacuum-ultraviolet light through a photomask so as to obtain an ultraviolet light irradiation film having many fine lines with hydrophobic groups on the surface of the transparent film (ultraviolet light irradiation step); (2) providing catalysts onto the many fine lines obtained of the ultraviolet light irradiation film (catalyst providing step); and (3) performing a conductive metal plating treatment to the resulting many fine lines to which the catalysts are provided (plating treatment step). Also provided is the conductive film manufactured by the manufacturing method, which is a transparent film having a hydrophilic surface, on the surface of which are formed many fine lines with hydrophilic groups, where a conductive metal is laminated on the fine lines. Further provided are a touch panel, an electromagnetic wave shield film, a heating body, and the like using the conductive film.SELECTED DRAWING: None
