Abstract:
The pipe (2) for transporting drinkable water, comprises a spheroidal graphite cast iron base body (8) defining an external surface (10) and an internal surface (12), and an internal coating (14) applied on the internal surface of the base body. The internal coating is made up of a thermoplastic material and an acrylic material. The base body has a wall thickness lower than 4 mm. The internal surface of the base body is obtained by hammering. An independent claim is included for a process of fabricating a pipe.
