Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a cylinder device, and the cylinder device which can achieve at least one of improvement of rigidity and reduction of weight of an outer cylinder.SOLUTION: An outer cylinder 14 is formed by processes including an intermediate molding processing process of forming a bottomed cylindrical intermediate molding having a bottom part and a cylindrical side wall part from a blank material, and a spinning process of extending the side wall part of the intermediate molding in an axial direction by spinning processing. An uneven shape part 35 extending in the axial direction is formed on an inner peripheral side of the outer cylinder 14 in at least one of the intermediate molding processing process and the spinning process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
